Sue has been the Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer at Barton-le-Clay since February 1998, having previously worked for the Council of Voluntary Organisations and Voluntary Services Oversees. She has attained the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiCLA) and is a member of the both the Society and Institute of Local Council Clerks. Sue is the Proper Officer of the Council; as referred to in the Local Government Act 1972.

Kerri joined the Parish Council in October 2009, after working for many years in the commercial sector. She has completed the ‘Working with Your Council’ course and is also a First Aider. Kerri coordinates the Luton Road Sports Field bookings and provides excellent administrative support to the Clerk and Council members.
GROUNDSMAN/CARETAKER:

Ian has been with the Council since February 2007, after spending many years at a local engineering company. Ian now works tirelessly to maintain the Luton Road sports field, play areas and allotments in addition to the vast array of street furniture and amenity areas managed by the Parish Council. He is a qualified First Aider and has completed training on Play Area Safety Inspections, use of Brush Cutters and Pesticides Applications.
BURIAL GROUNDS ATTENDANT:

Richard took over the role of part-time Burial Ground Attendant in September 2008, and combines these responsibilities with working with local tradesman. Richard has become a welcoming face to visitors of the Burial Ground, and has taken a keen interest in developing a ‘greener’ waste composting system. Richard has also completed full training in the use of Brush Cutters, Pesticide Applications and First Aid.
NORMAN ROAD PLAY AREA KEYHOLDER
Mrs Gill George Contact via Parish Office only.
Gill has opened and closed the gate to Norman Road play area, seven days a week, since July 1991; providing a much valued service to the Council. Gill also works in local schools in a teaching capacity.
